Despite her fame and wealth, Jane Fonda still struggles with poor self-esteem.
"I still have a ways to go before I can feel happy with myself," Fonda, 60, told a conference of 165 teenage girls Saturday in Bozeman, Mont. She sprinkled her talk with anecdotes about eating disorders, her unhappy teenage years and how meeting her husband, media mogul Ted Turner, changed her life.
"At 51 years old, to find a soul mate is amazing," she said. "Do I think Ted is one of the best things that happened to me? Yes."
Fonda said she began suffering from bulimia and anorexia at age 15 and didn't break out of her shell until she met Turner.
