Troubled rocker Tommy Lee agreed to settle a civil lawsuit alleging he roughed up a paparazzi cameraman outside a West Hollywood nightclub.

Terms of Thursday's settlement were not disclosed. It came just two days after the Motley Crue drummer pleaded no contest to felony spousal abuse for kicking his now-estranged wife, actress Pamela Anderson, as she held their baby son.The settlement averted a trial set for Monday in the lawsuit accusing Lee, 35, of throwing Henry Trappler to the ground outside a West Hollywood nightclub on Sept. 29, 1996.

Trappler suffered a displaced hip and other injuries prompting a four-day hospital stay and months of recuperation, his attorneys said.
