The man arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting three little girls with a knife early Sunday as they camped out in a tent in their back yard could face additional charges.

Monday afternoon a 13-year-old girl told South Salt Lake police that the man arrested for that crime also sexually assaulted her, said South Salt Lake Police Sgt. Beau Babka. The child came to the police station with her parents after seeing the man on television.Babka said police were going to finish the investigation into Sunday's attacks before beginning another investigation into the new allegations. He said detectives hope to take the case involving Sunday's assaults to prosecutors by Tuesday.

Police will investigate the newest allegation of sexual assault against the man, who has a criminal history but no convictions of sex crimes.
