The Central Utah Water Conservancy District has presented a tentative $75 million budget for fiscal 1998-99.

The district administers the Central Utah Project under the CUP Com-pletion Act of 1991.The water district came under fire last year for a multimillion-dollar dam it proposed building in Diamond Fork Canyon near Spanish Fork. It has since scrapped plans for that part of the Spanish Fork-to-Nephi pipeline.

The district will hold a public hearing on the proposed budget June 17.
