Nancie Rose Marie McAuliffe Coburn, our beloved mother, grandmother and wife, passed away Thursday, May 28, 1998.

She was born to Henry and Bess Belt McAuliffe, March 13, 1922, in Montrose, Colorado.She spent her life helping and caring for not only her family members, but friends in need. She was a selfless person and will be missed by all that knew her. She was a rodeo queen in Montrose in 1941. She was secretary for the Payson Chamber of Commerce for several years. She served in many different organizations throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers, June Miller, Jack McAuliffe, and Dean McAuliffe.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. M.L. Coburn; her son, Mont Coburn; stepchildren, Gene Coburn, Karlene Jackson, Carol Farrell, Janet George; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother, Helene Ramsey, Lee Meinig, and Robert McAuliffe.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, June 3, 1998, 11 a.m., in the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson.
