Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Harold Matthew Dixon, age 64, passed away June 15, 1998 at home in West Jordan, Utah.
Born May 9, 1934 in Kearns, Texas, son of Richard Joseph and Eleanor Green Dixon. Married Chessa Edna Wade, May 29, 1952 in Pittsburg, Texas. Active member of the LDS Church having served in the bishopric of the Texas Longview First Ward and high councilman in the Longview Stake.Survived by his wife, Chessa; sons, Harold M. Dixon, Jr., West Jordan; Larry E. Dixon, Salt Lake City; daughter, Angela R. Baker, Longview, Texas; 19 grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Eleanor Dixon, Gilmer, Texas; brothers, Jerry Wayne Dixon, Dan Dixon; sister, Mary Jo Coulter.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, 8 p.m. at McDougal West Jordan Mortuary, 1861 West 7800 South, where friends may call Wednesday from 7 - 8 p.m. Interment, Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Longview, Texas.
