Pauline Walker Fleming, 81, passed away on June 13, 1998 in Yuma Arizona.
She was born on March 23, 1917 in Griswold, Iowa. She married Leland Walker on June 26, 1937 in Sabetha, Kansas. On September 15, 1982 she married Lt. Col. Earl L. Fleming; retired, at Fort Douglas, Utah. She retired from Smiths Food and Drug Center in Salt Lake City in 1981.She is survived by her husband, Earl L. Fleming, of Yuma, Arizona; daughters, Wanda Vanderpoel, West Valley City, Utah; and Gail (Norman) Jenson, Sandy, Utah; son, Gerald Fleming, Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Cleta (Bert) Rokey, Springfield, Oregon; four grandchildren, Michael (Teri) Vanderpoel, Taylorsville; Jeri (Curtis) Lund, West Valley City; Tim Jenson; and Chris Jenson; and five great-grandchildren, Dillon Vanderpoel; Brennin Vanderpoel; Michon Vanderpoel; Earon Lund; and Shelby Lund. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Leland Walker; and her parents.
Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 19, 1998 at 1 p.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South and an hour prior to service on Friday. Interment Valley View Funeral Home.
