Jeffrey D. Hansen, 47 passed away June 14, 1998 in West Jordan, Utah.

Born May 22, 1951 in Richfield, Utah to Renee Yergensen, Hansen, Cordon and Harold D. Hansen. Married Marla Bevan May 18, 1972. She passed away on June 14, 1979. He worked many years for the Trane Company. Jeff loved music and he was very talented on the guitar, piano and trumpet. He also enjoyed writing poetry. He was an avid sports fan and had an extremely excellent sense of humor. Fishing was one of Jeff's favorite pastimes, many at Otter Creek. Jeff was an outstanding family man. He was such a good father to his two children. He was a good son and brother. John Lennon was his inspiration. He could not survive without his Mountain Dew. Jeff loved all animals especially dogs and tigers.Survived by parents; two children, a daughter, Alethea; a son, Chris; brother, Brad Hansen; sister, Doris Hansen Saxton (Steve); grandma, Golda Yergensen, Monroe, Utah; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by stepmother, Betty Romney Hansen, and stepfather, Arthur (Art) Cordon.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 18, 1998 at 11 a.m., Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, where friends may call Wednesday, June 17, from 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment, Valley View.
