A fast-moving fire forced 300 guests to flee their hotel rooms at a casino near Hoover Dam. No one was injured.

"It's amazing we've had no loss of life or injury with a fire of this magnitude," fire spokesman Steve LaSky said of the blaze that gutted the Gold Strike Inn early Tuesday.Damage was estimated at $30 million.

Guests scrambled from the three-floor inn and a 17-floor hotel tower adjacent to the casino a few miles west of the dam. The site is about 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas.
