Lucile Carlisle Gutke, age 87, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, Tuesday June 16, 1998.
Lucile was born September 1, 1910 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Harvey Cartwright Carlisle and Amelia Towler. Married Willard E. Gutke on April 18, 1934 LDS Temple. He died on September 27, 1984.Survived by a daughter, Joyce Koppes, of Tualation, Oregon; a son, Harvey C. Gutke; and his wife, Chris, of Sandy, Utah; two grandchildren, Darrel Gutke (recently returned from a mission in England); and Michael John Gutke (currently serving in the South Africa Johannesburg mission); a sister, Isabelle Carlisle Packard, of San Luis Obispo, California. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Darrell; grandson, Michael John Koppes; and brothers, Harvey Barr Carlisle; and Marvin Carlisle.
She attended the BYU and was active member of the LDS Church.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 20, 1998, 12 noon at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 Memory Lane (1990 East). Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 South) Saturday prior to service from 10 - 11:30 a.m.
