I have been involved in outdoor activity all of my life. Fish and wildlife have played a major part of the experiences and enjoyment of those activities.

We the public have the opportunity to participate in the future protection of wildlife by voting on the ballot this November. SJR10 will address a con-sti-tutional amendment to ensure wildlife stays under the direction and care of Utah's professional wildlife managers. The issue at stake here is whether what happens with wildlife is decided on an emotional basis or on sound scientific reasoning. If what happens to wildlife is decided in any other way, then it may be the loser and not the winner in the long run. Other states have stopped the "management" of wild-life by professional managers with some unsatisfactory results. No management is neither prudent nor smart, whether it has to do with your money or your family business.

Hunting and fishing continue to be important to me and my family. Hopefully, I can continue to have these experiences with my children and grandchildren.
