The 61st annual week-long Lehi Roundup Celebration begins Monday. The theme is "Children, Hope for America."

- A family picnic will be held at Wines Park Monday at 6 p.m. (treat provided).- On Tuesday, swimming will be free at the Lehi swimming pool.

- On Wednesday, a Cowboy Poetry Gathering will be held at 7 p.m. at Lehi Junior High. Admission is $2.

- On Thursday and Friday a parade will be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Main Street. The parade will be followed by the Roundup Rodeo at 8 p.m.

- On Saturday, June 27, a chuck wagon breakfast is scheduled from 7-10 a.m. in Wines Park. The breakfast is sponsored by Lehi Service Club. A parade will be held that day at 10 a.m., and booths and concessions will be set up all day at the park. The final round of the Roundup Rodeo starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the Roundup Rodeo are available at Ream's Boots and Jeans and Western Tack & Togs in Lehi. All seats are reserved. Tickets are $7 for adults on Thursday and $1 for children under 12 with an adult. All seats are $7 Friday and $8 Saturday for the finals round.

"It's one of the best rodeos in the state. It's professional, yet the atmosphere is Western," said Miss Rodeo Lehi Misty Woodard.

Following the rodeo each day, there will be a cowboy autograph session and dirt dance in the arena.
