Darrell Jackson Wanlass, 81, died June 17, 1998.
He was born September 2, 1916 to Samuel and Ruby Huggard Wanlass in American Fork, Utah. He married Marilyn Burt on January 8, 1949 in Brigham City, Utah.He is survived by his dedicated and loving wife Marilyn, five daughters and one son, Judy L.(Les) Smith, Nancy A. (Roger) Lindley, Janet Kampman, all of Pleasant Grove, Bonnie J. (Mark) Sykes of American Fork, Debra S. (Jim) MacNaughtan of Lehi, Burt Wanlass of St. George, 15 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Also by three sisters Mildred Mecham, Beth Cook, both of Pleasant Grove, and Mary Ann Andrews of American Fork. Preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Samuel H. Wanlass.
Funeral Services will be Monday, June 22, at 11 a.m. in the Pacific Drive Ward, 165 North 350 West, American Fork. Friends may call Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary (49 East 100 North, American Fork, and Mon. one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, American Fork Cemetery. Military Rites by VFW District #4.
