William D. Romine, 63, died on Saturday, May 30, 1998, unexpectedly of natural causes.
Bill was born on June 3, 1934, the third of six children to William and Pearl Romine in Circleville, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah and received both his Bachelors and Masters in Education. Bill later received his Doctorate of education from Brigham Young University. He served an LDS Mission to the Great Lakes area. On September 24, 1958, Bill married his sweetheart, Jeannene Sager, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Bill had retired from the Salt Lake City School District, where he taught school and was a principle for 30 years. He also served in many positions in the LDS Church including Bishop of the Parley's Second Ward, where he was a member for over 35 years. Bill and Jeannene were living in Santa Clara, Utah, where they were members of the Santa Clara Second Ward.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jeannene; six children, Kristine Greco, St. George, UT and her four children, Angelina, Clint, Paul and Blake; John Romine, Salt Lake; Steven Romine, Salt Lake; Mike Romine (Lynn), Dufur, OR and four children, Kristi, Amanda, Nicholas and Brittany; Joseph Romine (Shauna), Lehi, UT and their two daughters, Samantha and Mallory; and his wonderful son, Danny, of Santa Clara. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary (Mona), Las Vegas, NV; Linden (Lenna), Circleville, UT; two sisters, Patricia Navarette (Buddy), Circleville, UT; Jolene Dalton (Clark), Circleville, UT. Bill is preceded in death by his mother, Pearl; his father, William; his eldest brother, Harry.
Bill will be missed as the patriarch of his family and many, many loving friends. His grandchildren will miss him dearly, but know he is in a better place.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Parley's Second Ward located at 1870 East Parley's Canyon Boulevard. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 1998 at Larkin Mortuary located at 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City from 6-8 p.m. and 11-11:45 a.m. at the Ward prior to the funeral on Wednesday, June 3rd. Interment, Thursday at 1 p.m. in Circleville, UT.
