Catherine Schicker, 11, devours cotton candy Monday during Fifth Grade Day at Liberty Park. Taking advantage of superb weather, the fifth-graders of Midvalley Elementary, Midvale, spent the day playing and picnicking at the park. Warm, breezy weather continued Tuesday with highs in the 80s. William J. Alder, meteorologist in charge of the National Weather Service's Salt Lake City regional forecast center, said northern Utah has "just some slight chance for thunderstorms" Tuesday afternoon and night. Storms could move into the state from the north. Most likely any rain will be confined to the Utah-Idaho border.
