Postal Service article erred

I am concerned by a newspaper article on the U.S. Postal Service that appeared in your newspaper on May 28. It contained an inaccuracy that in fairness should be addressed.

The article incorrectly states the Postal Service is subsidized by taxpayers. The Postal Service has not received tax dollars for operations since 1982 and relies on the sale of products and services to pay its bills.Ralph Hamilton
