The letter of Patricia Buffs in the Sunday's Forum is well done. One additional point. She states that smoking is the smoker's choice, and that is correct. However, smokers are usurping a choice for those with respiratory ailments by smoking in or near their presence. Asthmatics and others with respiratory problems are faced with the choice of allowing their health to be jeopardized or vastly limiting their mobility within society. How about some protection for those who are adversely impacted by secondhand smoking? Can we arrange a choice for them?
