Five Albanian soldiers who slipped away from a NATO-sponsored training exercise were picked up Saturday morning as they walked along a highway, police said.
The five were among 14 Albanians who went AWOL in recent days.Three Albanians were discovered Friday in civilian clothing at a bus station in Kinston, 40 miles north of Camp Lejeune. Authorities were still looking for the remaining six soldiers.
The five found Saturday morning were taken to Camp Lejeune. They had been spotted walking in Jacksonville on the southeast coast about 130 miles from Raleigh.

The soldiers were being held at the base Saturday night and were to be turned over to the Immigration and Naturalization Service, said Pvt. Ariel Linares, a base spokesman.
