Robert Ballow, age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Levan of diabetes and kidney failure.
He was born May 22, 1923 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Frank and Bita Escamaya Ballow. He married Eileen Crosland June 24, 1942 in Las Vegas, Nevada.He lived much of his life in Levan and his been on the Circle B Ranch since 1950, where he was a livestock dealer and horse trader. He entered the US Navy July 16, 1943 and was a member of the American Legion Post 23 of Levan, and member of the Mount Mariah Lodge F&AM of Nevada. He belonged to the Iron Workers Union.
Survived by wife of Levan; sons, Robert Don (Diane) Ballow; Kip Neal (Evelyn) Ballo; Jon Scott Ballow; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren' sisters, Henrietta Moore and Ellen (Mike) Nielsen; brother, Pete Ballow. Preceded in death by sons, Leslie Jon and Luis Franklin.
He was a loving husband; father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, all of which have lost their "Patron".
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 22, 1998, in the Levan LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, Levan Cemetery.
