Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather, passed away June 18, 1998 in West Jordan, Utah. The void in all our lives is already great.

Born August 2, 1953, in Pittspurgh, California to Harvey G. Dalton and Sally Rogers. He married Sue Robertson on March 18, 1983.Don was an avid explorer and lover of adventure. As his nickhame "Anasazi Don" suggests, he could find unknown Indian ruins, find tha tlost goldmine, or track any critter. don loved the outdoors and was especially fond of Moab. He loved the thrills of four wheeling in Slick Rock country. Don loved his family and enjoyed having everyone to their home, where he demonstrated his cooking prowess. He was very active with his grandchildren, loved their weekend visits and being part of their lives. He and Sue recently built a lovely new home where Don showed all his creative energy and design/decorating talents. He could build and fix anything. Don was a car enthusiast and loved his Jaguar, which he fortunately could service and reapir himself.

In his quiet time, he was an avid reader, especially ejoying history. He was a truly a "closet scholar" and an enthusiastic competitor of Trivial Pursuit.

As Don was often quoted,"Who said life was fair?" We will always feel cheated that we did not get enough techings and time from this man we loved.

Survived by wife, Sue Dalton and four children; Cheri Rieben (John); Alexis Dalton (Brenda); Troy Robertson (Melisa); Robbie Robertson (Monique), all of Salt Lake; grandchildren; Skylar, Nicole, Colby, Braedon, Kody, and Shandon; father, Harvey G. Dalton, mothers, Sally VanOrden (Howard) and Trudy Gerber; sisters: Gina Dalton, Sue Smith; brothers: Kirk Dalton, Dean, Grand, David and John Fothengill.
