Stacy Lewis Thomas, 93, returned to his Heavenly Father on June 18 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City after a short illness.

He was born February 21, 1905 in Lewisville, Idaho to James Thomas and Sarah Jane Vanleuven. He lived, at various time, in Idaho, California, and Utah. He moved form California to Ogden in 1955. He married Gladys Gertrude Kirkbride on September 22, 1926. The marriage was solemnized in the idaho Falls Temple in 1948. Gladys died in 958. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gayle. He married mae Nelson Wilkins May 6, 1959. She died in 1994. He had lived in Sale Lake City since 1959 and was a High Priest in the Salt Lake City 8th Ward of the LDS Church.He had worked as an auto mechanic, and body and fendre repair technician until his retirement in 1970. He repaired clocks and watches for many years after retiring. He was also skilled in electricity and radio in which he worked during World Warr II. He was actively involved with his local Seniro Center. His greatest love was genealogy work and writing family histories.

He is survived by two sons. Wesley (Velma) Thomas of Roy and Glenn (Linda) Thomas of West Point; and four daughters, Janice Christensen of Salt Lake City; Elaine (Leon) WAters of Reno, NV; Carol (Lee) Welch of Ogden; and Gloria Burt of Riverdale. Also surviving are three stepchildren, Velma Weeks of Salt Lake City, Victor Wilkins (Geneva) of West Valley City, and Gawin (Tess) Wilins of englewood, Colorado; 30 grandchildren, 77 great-grandchildren, and five great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22nd at 11 a.m. in the Larkin Moruary Chapel, 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Smithfield, Utah at 2:30 p.m
