Crews removed the last of the formaldehyde from a train that derailed over the weekend, tearing up hundreds of feet of track and temporarily forcing 500 people from their homes.

Officials early Monday said they expected the last 100 or so still barred from their homes could return Monday night, and rail traffic should resume Tuesday, said CSX spokeswoman Kathy Burns.Saturday's wreck spilled 30,000 gallons of formaldehyde, overturned 28 coal cars, and sent at least a dozen people to the hospital. All were treated and released.
