Sherrie Lynn Curtis, age 45 of American Fork, died suddenly of a brain aneurism Sunday, June 21, 1998.

She was born December 26, 1952 in Roosevelt, Utah to Marvin R. and Mern Ross Cook. She was the eldest of five children.Sherrie graduated from American Fork High School in May, 1970. She attended Utah Valley Community College until going to work for Geneva Works as a secretary. She married Loren "Michael" Curtis on December 29, 1973. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 8, 1975. They purchased a home in Orem, Utah where they lived until 1978, when they moved to American Fork, Utah. They have three children.

Survived by her husband, Michael, of American Fork; son, Kent Michael (April) Curtis, Payson; daughters, Sharlynn and Misty Curtis, both of American Fork; one grandchild; parents, Marvin and Mern Cook, Highland; grandparent, DeVear Ross, Salt Lake; brothers, Brent (Jackie) Cook and Blaine (Velina) Cook, both of Highland; Carla (Steve) Zimmerman, Lindon; Kathy (Mike) Calahan, Kearns.

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 25, 1998 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 18th Ward LDS Chapel, 381 S. 300 E., American Fork. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to service. Interment, American Fork City Cemetery.
