Edna Porter, 88, passed away June 15, 1998 in Salt Lake City.

Born to George Hoehner and Emma Jahn on February 11, 1910. She married John M. Porter on July 24, 1935. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1989.Edna attended Granite High School, and played second violin in the original Salt Lake Symphony Orchestra. She sang in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir during holidays in the Messiah.

Edna is survived by sisters, Della H. Wollin and Lillian H. Lynch; nieces, Sheila L. Mast and Joyce H. Thurman; nephews, Carl Hoehner and Harold Hoehner.

Funeral service held at the Paradise Memorial Garden Cemetery, Las Vegas, Nevada.
