Ensign Elementary has plenty of voting booths, above, and judges, left, but very few voters Tuesday. More than a few election judges in Salt Lake County wished they'd brought along a good book to read. Polls are open until 8 p.m., and voters in Salt Lake, Utah, Davis and Weber counties all have countywide primaries to vote in. In addition, there are six state House races in Salt Lake County and a state Senate and four House races in Davis County. Voters in the four main Wasatch Front counties only have Republicans on the ballot; there are no Democratic primaries in those counties. Deseret News pollster Dan Jones estimates between 8 percent and 10 percent of registered voters will go to the polls today. Election results will be in Wednesday's Deseret News.
