Peter, Paul and Mary are scheduled to perform Monday evening at a "campfire sing-along" in Central Park for the New York City Parks Foundation. Don't look for a real campfire. What will be blowing in the wind will be a "faux fire," according to their spokesman. The flames will be made of orange silk and will be fanned by an electric fan. "Fire Department regulations," explained the spokesman, Andy Morris.
