Mel Remy, 72, died Friday, June 27, 1998 in Salt Lake City.
He was born June 12, 1926 to Dorothy and Lester Remy in Salt Lake City. He served in the US Navy in World War II. Mel's voice is known by thousands from the many years spent on the radio. Mel was best known for being a great father and grandfather. His love lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.Survived by son, Tom Remy; daughter, Karen Gunderson; two sisters, Jean Flandro and Ruth Jackson; eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 30, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue & N Street. Funeral directors, Larkin Mortuary.
