Ronald H. Jacobsen, 61, died June 27, 1998 in a Salt Lake City hospital.
He was born March 2, 1937 in Garfield, Utah to Harry Leonard and Mildred Warr Bawden Jacobsen. Married Carol Ann Mitchell March 19, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1988. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He enjoyed Gold prospecting, was an avid horseman, hunter and loved all outdoor activities. He was an active member of the LDS Church.He is survived by his wife of Tooele; daughters, Judy Lynn Jacobsen, West Valley City; Mrs. Brian (Linda Jean) Scott, Kentucky. Sons, Jerry Dee Jacobsen, Salt Lake City; Cliff Ronald (Pam) Jacobsen, Lake Point, UT; and daughter, Mrs. Christine Pearson, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Sisters, Barbara Knight, Kearns; Arline Powell, Wellington, UT; brothers, David Caldwell, Fruit Heights, UT; Gene Caldwell, Lake Point, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Shane Jacobsen; and a grand-daughter, Jessica Ann Jacobsen.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 30, 1998, at 11 a.m. in the Tooele LDS Stake Center 253 S. 200 E. Friends may call at the Tate Mortuary 110 S. Main Tooele, Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church. Burial Lake Point Cemetery.
