Our beloved mother grandmother and great-grandmother, Elizabeth Deborah Robinson Applegate, died peacefully, on Monday June 29, 1998 at the home of her daughter in Ogden, Utah.

Beth was born October 17, 1914, in Junction, Utah, to Dennison H. and Gladys Blake Robinson. She attended school in Junction, Monroe and Richfield, graduating from Richfield High School. Beth married her eternal sweetheart Jay W. Applegate, May 20, 1933. The marriage was solemnized in Salt Lake Temple, on June 6, 1933. He preceded her in death March 11, 1983. Beth loved serving and teaching others. She was famous for her candy and beautiful handwork. She was also a talented writer. She was always active in the LDS Church. Jay and Beth served as missionaries in Mississippi Jackson Mission.Beth is survived by Thyne (Bette) Applegate, St. George; Gregory (Carole) Applegate, South Jordan; Dennise , Ogden; and Tamzan Smith, Ogden; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Blake Robinson, Lynn Robinson, LaBarron Robinson, Barbara Walker, Donna Anderson, Denna Davidson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Elewyn and sister, Myrtle Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 3, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Richfield 2nd LDS Ward Chapel (400 North 200 West). Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., and again Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Richfield City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Neal S.
