Additional charges have been filed against a Sandy man who allegedly sexually abused several children he met at the Dickens Festival last Christmas.

Robert Wayne Larsen, 33, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony, and two counts of lewdness involving a child, a Class A misdemeanor.Charges filed in 3rd District Court Monday stated the fol-low-ing:

On one occasion in 1992 or 1993, one boy said Larsen put his hand down the child's undergarments, touching his genitals. The same boy alleged Larsen placed the boy's hand on Larsen's genitals, the probable cause document stated.

Another child, 12, told police Larsen had fondled him in January while at Larsen's home, 7875 Brady Circle (1905 East).

A third child, also 13, said Larsen hosted a sleepover in January or February, during which he "dared" the child to disrobe and masturbate. During the same "Truth or Dare" game, Larsen allegedly disrobed and exposed himself to the child and others present at the time, according to the probable cause statement.

Another 12-year old child told police he was with the 13-year old at the sleepover, and witnessed Larsen expose himself, the document stated.

Larsen faced similar charges in May, involving a 10-year old boy he also allegedly met while working as an actor at the Dickens Festival last Christmas. The boy told police Larsen had touched his genitals on multiple occasions, and committed a sex act in front of him and at least two other children in February.

In 1994, Larsen also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of lewdness involving a child. Court records showed he completed 36 months of probation and a sex offender treatment program.

Larsen was released on $10,000 bail and is being monitored by an electronic monitoring system.
