Patsy and Peggy Lynn may have country music in their blood, but they say their famous mom never pushed them into the spotlight.
"My mother didn't exactly have dreams of us doing this," Patsy Lynn says of Loretta Lynn in the June 13 issue of TV Guide. "She knew all the pitfalls."But that didn't stop the 33-year-old twins, who made their Grand Old Opry debut when they were 3 weeks old, from pursuing music careers. Now the duet is up for two awards, Star of Tomorrow/Female and Vocal Duo/Group of the Year, at this week's TNN Music City News Country Awards June 15.
The Lynns music pays tribute to their mother and their late father Oliver Lynn.
