A television documentary on Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, former archbishop of Chicago, will air on Sunday, July 12, at noon on KUED-TV, channel 7.
Bernardin, who died in November 1996, became a public figure by voicing his political position on various issues, including abortion. Bernardin spent more than 20 years serving the Catholic church.The documentary is produced by Martin Doblmeier and Frank Host and Family Theater Productions, in association with Santa Fe Communications.
