A jubilee celebration marking the 50th anniversary of laying the cornerstone of the Orem Vermont LDS Chapel will be at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 16, at 400 N. 400 East.
As part of the festivities a special program will be conducted by Gerald Nielsen, bishop of the Vermont 2nd Ward. Keynote speaker will be Lloyd Louder, original contractor of the edifice and one of the early bishops of the ward.Following the program the cornerstone will be opened and the contents will be displayed. The public is invited.
