Start the fireworks earlier

SHARE Start the fireworks earlier

To the organizers of Stadium of Fire,

Please make it a point to notify the public that the Stadium of Fire is not a family event. Although the fireworks were spectacular, some of the best that I have ever seen, half of the children who waited with their families missed the display. They were asleep. The reason for this was that the fireworks weren't set off until 10:50 p.m.Is there any way possible to set off the fireworks earlier? Events in the stadium don't necessarily need the darkness. I know because I have attended inside the stadium before. If the performance is going to run late, why can't it have an earlier start time so that families with children can enjoy the fireworks without their children failing asleep on the pavement?

The Stadium of Fire is supposed to be a community and family event. It wasn't this year. With thousands of people and families waiting for the fireworks display, there was a great deal of disappointment. Waiting until almost 11 p.m. to set the fireworks off is ridiculous. In the four years that I have been in Provo, this is the latest it has ever gone. It doesn't need to be so late. I know that a lot of families would be grateful if you made the change to an earlier performance next year.
