Golda Lucille Christensen Smith, age 92, passed away on July 9, 1998 in West Jordan, Utah.
Golda was born April 11, 1906 to Peter and Freda Christensen. She married Len Jorgensen Smith on November 4, 1928 in Salt Lake City. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a worker in the Jordan River LDS Temple and also as the visiting teacher supervisor. She loved to crochet and gave many projects away.Survived by one son, Don Len (Dottie) Smith, LaGrange, Georgia; one daughter, Virginia (Floyd) Timothy, Kearns; one brother, Howard (Minnetta) Christensen, Addison, Illinois; one sister, Beth Nelson, Kearns; eight grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
