Marketing student at UVSC takes first in competition

A Utah Valley State College marketing student won a first-place award at a national competition in Denver, Colo.

Jennifer Horne of Santa Clara, Washington County, won four medals, a large plaque and $100 in a marketing strategy competition for apparel and accessories.At marketing contests, students compete in interviews, tests, role-play and written project reports to evaluate marketing and management skills.
