After 4 1/2 years as Franklin Quest Field, the home of the Salt Lake Buzz underwent a name change Friday.
Say hello to Franklin Covey Field."The name change puts the finishing touches on the merger of Franklin Quest and Covey Leadership Center," said company chairman Hyrum Smith. "This signifies that the merger is complete."
Crews changed all signs outside the stadium before Friday's Pacific Coast League game between the Buzz and Las Vegas Stars to make it official.
"The Salt Lake Buzz appreciate the support we have received from Franklin Covey," team owner Joe Buzas said. "Franklin Covey Field is the finest stadium in the country for Triple-A baseball and makes a valuable contribution to our community."
Franklin Quest paid for the naming rights to the ballpark in July 1993.
