Cooper, the league's leading scorer, had 11 points and Sheryl Swoopes added 10 as the Comets led 32-13 at halftime. The Monarchs' halftime point total was a new WNBA low, breaking the old mark of 15 set by Phoenix in a game last year against Cleveland.
