Eldon J. Christensen, 59, died on Sunday, July 19, 1998 at 2:30 p.m. at his home in Rock Springs, WY, following a bout with cancer.
He was born in Salt Lake City, December 10, 1938, the son of the late Olive and Charles Christensen. He graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City in 1952. He was married to Larie Packer in Salt Lake City, December 31, 1976. He was employed by Chevron Chemical for 35 years and worked at SF Phosphates.He is survived by relatives including his wife, Larie; brother, Wendell Christensen, Rock Springs and Salt Lake City; a sister, Lavelle Angliss, of Bellview, WA; his nephew and stepson, Dana Christensen, Salt Lake City; niece and stepdaughter, Robyn Christensen and her son, David, of Salt Lake; nephew and stepson, Shayne Christensen and his wife, Susan and their children, Jessica, Shanna, Ryan and Brett, all of Rock Springs; nephew and stepson, Dio Christensen and his children, Bryann, Cameron, Brecque and Karah; nephew and stepson, Jody Christensen and his wife, Diane and children, Chad, Jennifer and Jerry; niece and stepdaughter, Samantha McCollin and husband, Jeff and their children, Alyssa and Trevor, all of Salt Lake City.
Service will be at the Sunset Larkin Mortuary in Salt Lake City, Thursday, July 23, 1998 at 12 noon. Burial will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
