Jodie Foster is all smiles over her new gig: first-time mom.
The actress-director went home Tuesday with her new baby boy, Charles Foster. He was born Monday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 7 1/2 pounds, said publicist Pat Kingsley."She couldn't be happier. She's happy as a lark," Kingsley said.
Foster, whose movie credits include "Taxi Driver" and "Silence of the Lambs," hasn't revealed the name of the father.
Foster, 35, won Academy Awards for her performances in 1988's "The Accused" and 1991's "The Silence of the Lambs."
