Dennis Simonaitis crosses the finish line as the men's marathon winner of Friday's Deseret News/Granite Furniture Marathon and 10K races. The 36-year-old Murray resident claimed the $1,000 first-place prize in the 26.2-mile race. And in the women's marathon, Roy's Olga Appell completed a historic double triumph.
