A police officer and three others have been accused of dealing more than $23 million worth of cocaine over the past six years.
Officer Frank Monticello, Andrew Hetu, Alberto Blasco and David Blasco were to appear in court Friday on the charges.Authorities said the four are suspected of being part of a group responsible for distributing 20 kilograms of cocaine per month in South Florida, Tampa and in neighboring Alabama since 1992.
One kilogram of cocaine is worth $16,000 to $18,000 on the street.
