Merrill D. Hansen, 70, passed away due to a heart attack on July 23, 1998.
He was born February 23, 1928 in Richfield, Utah, to Carlton and Lora Hansen. He married Hazel Dolton (later divorced). He married Annie M. McKnight Cordell, April 20, 1973 in Kearns, Utah. He served in the US Navy. He spent 32 years at Kennecott. He loved to go fishing and golfing. He was an avid snowbird, and spent many winters in Yuma, Arizona.He is survived by his wife, Annie; children, David (Debbie) Hansen; Salt Lake City, UT; Darrell Hansen, San Franciso, CA; Denise Hansen and Diane Hansen. He is also survived by three stepdaughters, Janice, Linda and Mary; five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Hansen; sister, Darlene Farester. He was preceded in death by his parents. He lvoed his children very much and will be greatly missed.
Services Monday, July 27, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends and family may call Sunday, July 26, 1998 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at Redwood Memorial Estates.
