First half: The Rockers began with an 8-0 lead, but Utah wrested command, tying it at 15 with a 3-pointer from Wendy Palmer. After taking a 29-21 lead, Utah then fell silent, scoring only on two Palmer free throws while Cleveland made four buckets, two of them threes, to go to the locker room down only one.
Second half: The Rockers got the first four points of the second half to go up 34-31 before Palmer scored seven unanswered points and a Bader three and Dena Head basket made it a 10-1 Utah run for a 43-37 lead. Utah went dead again for an 8-0 Rocker run and a 45-43 lead. Back came Palmer with five straight points for a 48-47 lead, and Scott made it 50-47 with 10 minutes left, and Erin Alexander's three made it 53-49 before the sloppy Starzz let the home team have a 7-0 run (56-53, Cleveland) that became a 17-2 run (66-55, Cleveland) and then a 20- 5 run to make it an 11-point lead.
