Annabel Blanche Cannon, youngest daughter of William and Minnie Fetterly Cannon, returned to her Creator on July 26, 1998, at the age of 89, of causes attributed to age.

Born in Rock Springs, Wyoming, November 9, 1908. At three, she moved to Blackfoot, Idaho, where she attended Riverside Elementary and Blackfoot High School. A farm girl, Annabel left home for Salt Lake City in 1927 to attend LDS Business College. Graduating after two years, she worked as a secretary her entire career, starting with Utah Beverage and Distribution Co., McLanahan's Clothing Co., the US Army, finally retiring from the Utah Department of Employment Security in 1974. Preceded in death by her entire family, Crystal E.C. Colombe, Edward L. Cannon, and William C. Cannon. Never married, Annabel is survived by her great-great niece, Dawn A.B. Olson; a great-nephew, Robert R. Bridges and family; and two nephews, W. Dean and William E. Cannon and their families.Member of the Cathedral of St. Mark's and of Mizpah Chapter No. 5, Order of the Eastern Star.

Cremation, a short memorial service will be offered at the graveside per Annabel's request at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 1998, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Mark's Cathedral, to be used for their greatest need.
