Psychological experts found no mental illness that would qualify a 15-year-old for a reduced sentence in the killings of three girls and wounding of five other students at their high school, a prosecutor said.

Commonwealth's Attorney Tim Kaltenbach made the comment in a court document filed Monday in which he asked a judge not to lift a gag order on lawyers in the case against Michael Carneal.The prosecutor said he would not comment beyond what was in his court filing.

Carneal is scheduled to go on trial in October for the Dec. 1 shooting, in which he is accused of carrying a pistol, shotguns and rifles into Heath High School and opening fire in the lobby as classmates ended an informal prayer
