Clarence Howard Memmott, 80, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 1998 in Salt Lake City.

He was born October 2, 1917 in Salt Lake City to George F. and Genevieve Wright Memmott. Married Utahna Wilson December 29, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah.Clarence was a devoted Husband, great Dad and a loving Grandfather. Through the challenges with Alzheimers he managed to keep his sense of humor. He was a World War II Veteran and served in Italy and Africa. He retired after 35 years of service with Intermountain Furniture Co.

Survived by daughter Karen (Larry) Bingham; grandsons Gavin and Corey; brother Norman (Darlene); sisters, Wanda Smith, Dorothy Adair, Virginia (Ross) and Linda Barr.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Fri., July 31, 1998 in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Vista Section). Family and friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive from 1:45-2:45 p.m. prior to services.
