Police are looking for a West Valley man who allegedly struck another man in the head with a pitchfork Wednesday. The two men lived next to each other in a field in the 2500 South block of Chatham Street (1490 West) in West Valley.

The man, 49, struck a 41-year-old neighbor with a pitchfork about 7:30 p.m.The attacker apparently blamed the injured man for the breakup of his marriage, police said.

The injured man lived in a tent on the property next to the alleged attacker who lived in a camper, said Lt. Lynn Hanson of West Valley police.

Although the victim's injuries were not serious, he was taken to LDS Hospital because he was disoriented, said Hanson.

The suspect is driving a blue 1972 Chevy pickup with South Carolina license plates.
