The 29th annual Deseret News/Granite Furniture marathon is scheduled for Friday, July 24. The marathon is a world-class event drawing runners from around the globe. The breathtaking course follows the route of the first pioneers along the famous Mormon Trail as they came out of Emigration Canyon and into the Salt Lake Valley.
There is also a competitive 10K run and a noncompetitive 5K walk/run.
