Living like a queen doesn't mean frugality is out the win-dow.
Queen Elizabeth II, besides occasionally using regular trains, has also decided to hire out the royal train. It's part of an effort to cut down on the $28.5 million the royals spend on travel each year. The train, which costs $16,500 each time the Queen uses it, will only be rented out to "appropriate" people, Buckingham Palace said Sunday. But the palace didn't say how much others would have to pay to use the train, with its maroon cars, dining room and servants' quarters.
